Classroom presentation and

Course covers Federal Law 29CFR1910.178 requirements, including the natural instability of forklifts, forklift basics, the difference between automobiles and forklifts, pre-inspection requirements (and basic maintenance), Safe Operating practices as well as Laws and Regulations, elevating personnel and how to manage hazards.

Pre-Inspection

Run through an actual
pre-inspection
of operator’s forklift.

Includes Traveling forward, backward,
turning. Picking up load, stacking,
and unstacking. Traveling with a load.
Forklift (Class 7) Operator Training additional 30 minutes
In addition to Classes 1 – 5
covered above, this Telehandler (or Reach Lift) certification
course includes information on how to calculate telehandler boom
angle, boom length and load weight. We also explain how size
and type of load affects capacity.
Training is provided at your location (or a work site) with your equipment. Although we do not maintain a training location or equipment in order to keep our overheads low and our pricing competitive, we can sometimes arrange with local rental companies to rent their equipment for an additional fee.
